Special Awards & Recognitions

Honored Diversity

  • Honoring studios representing multiple genres. In order to be eligible for Honored Diversity, studios must have at least 5 different genres represented out of all group entries. The highest scoring group routine from each accepted genre will be added and the studio with the highest combined score will be the winner. Accepted genres: Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, and Ballroom. Open routines are not accepted.

Honored Division

  • Honoring studios representing each size division. In order to be eligible for Honored Division, studios are required to have routines in each division: Solo**, Duo/Trio, Small Group, Large Group, and Line/Production. The highest scoring routine from each division will be added and the studio with the highest combined score will be the winner.
  • **The studio’s highest scoring National Solo score will be used (Honored Dancer Solo scores will not be used toward Honored Division Solo Score).

Honored Program

  • Honoring studios representing all age groups. In order to be eligible for Honored Program, studios must have competing groups in Sparks, Mini, Junior, Teen, and Senior age divisions. The highest scoring group routine from each age division will be added and the studio with the highest combined score will be the winner.

Honored Studio

  • Honoring studios that excel in multiple genres, age divisions, and group sizes. In order to be eligible for Honored Studio, studios must meet the requirements of Honored Diversity, Honored Division, and Honored Program. The studio with the highest combined score or Honored Diversity, Honored Division, and Honored Program will be the winner and receive a 2-Day, 3-Teacher Remix valued at $15,000!

Honored Legacy

  • ​National Dance Honors will proudly recognize individuals who have inspired and impacted the dance industry. The Honored Legacy will be awarded to individuals for outstanding vision, dedication, and achievement throughout their lifetime.​​

Honored Sportsmanship

  • The studio with the best overall sportsmanship during classes and competition chosen by the National Dance Honors staff.

Is the deadline to purchase discounted Gala tickets for National Dance Honors in both Las Vegas and Orlando. Any tickets purchased after May 21, 2018 will incur the full ticket price. NO EXCEPTIONS.

$95 if purchased before the deadline,

$105 after the deadline. Seating is limited and Galas will sell out.
(ADVANCE PURCHASE IS ESSENTIAL)

Due to size, National Dance Honors may have a 12 & Under Gala followed by a 13 & Over Gala.

NOTE: No one will be admitted to the Gala without a paid ticket, even if you have dancers performing in the Gala. If dancers performing in the Gala want to have a seat inside
the ballroom to watch the Gala show, they must purchase a Gala ticket. If they do not purchase a ticket, they must exit the ballroom upon completion of their performance and
will not be allowed to re-enter without a ticket. Tickets are non-transferrable.
