Can we use registration credits towards gala tickets?
No, you will not be able to apply registration credits towards gala ticket purchases. Gala tickets are purchased through a third party site and are separate from your registration. Please note gala tickets are non refundable and you can only purchase up to two tables at a time.
What should I plan to bring for my dancer’s City Crew performance?
Your dancer will need to bring black bottoms for their City Crew performance. Their shirt will be provided onsite.
Can I participate in the Honored Dancer Crew and not compete a solo?
No, if you do not wish to compete a solo you will only be eligible to register for the National City Crew.

Can I register as an independent?
All dancers will need to be registered under a studio account, by the studio owner/director, to be eligible to register for workshop and compete.
What is the cost for the Honored Dancer Experience?
The Honored Dancer Experience will be $295/early fee (if paid in full by May 17th, 2021) and $395/late fee (if paid May 18th, 2021 or after).
What is the Honored Dancer Final Competition?
The top Honored Dancer finalists will re-compete their solo for the NDH faculty. Previous solo scores will be wiped clean, giving all dancers a chance for the title.
What does the honored dancer experience fee include?
The Honored Dancer Experience fee will include Honored Crew rehearsals and performance in the gala, Honored Dancer Solo entry, Honored Dancer T- Shirt, Honored Dancer Bag, and the gala green room experience with meal.
Is the Honored Dancer jacket included in my Honored Dancer fee?
Yes. Honored Dancer jackets are included in the Honored Dancer entry fee. Sizes will be entered at the time of registration.
How late will the gala end on the final day?
The Gala typically ends around 7:30 PM on the final day of the event.
How much is National City Crew?
National City Crew will be $145/early fee (if paid in full by May 18th, 2020) and $195/late fee (if paid May 19th, 2020 or after).
When are all registration and competition adjustments due for San Diego and Orlando?
The deadline to make any registration or competition adjustments for San Diego NDH is Friday June 4th, 2021.

How do we prequalify? Do you have a pre qualifying competition?
All group routines will need to prequalify for The National Dance Honors. All solos, duos, and trios will not need to prequalify. To prequalify, a group routine must have been brought to an Adrenaline or Revive regional city at least once. If you choose to bring a routine to NDH that has not prequalified you will need to pay the regional fee in addition to the national fee. NDH does not offer a pre qualifying competition. Please note if a studio brings 50 pre qualifying routines to the National Dance Honors any additional pre qualifying routine fees will be waived.
When are the early fees in effect til?
Early fees will be in effect until Monday, May 17th, 2021, after this deadline all unpaid fees will automatically be switched over to the late fees. No exceptions.
Can we take pictures or videos of convention class?
We do not allow photos or videos to be taken during our convention classes.

We do not allow photos or videos to be taken during our competition. Visual Tech Productions will be there to take photos and videos of every routine and these will be available for purchase during the event.
Will there be a live feed?
Yes, we will offer a live feed of the competition at the National Dance Honors events, starting with day 2 of competition. Honored Dancer solos will not be streamed on the live feed, but Visual Tech will have photos and videos available for purchase. Please note this is subject to the wifi and speed of service we have at the venue and is not always guaranteed.
How many solos is each dancer allotted?
Each dancer is eligible to compete up to two solos in the National solo competition. If the dancer is competing for Honored Dancer, they are eligible to compete three solos total, one for Honored Dancer and two in the National Solo competition. Please note none of these solos can be the same.
My dancer cannot attend the first day of the event? Can they still participate in Honored Dancer experience?
No, the Honored Dancer competition will begin on the first day of the event, so all dancers will need to be present to be eligible to participate.
Will I be able to receive the final event documents if any of my registered dancers have outstanding waivers?
We will need your balance paid in full and have received a waiver from each registered dancer for you to be eligible to receive the final show documents.
Can my dancer be bumped up or down a convention room level? How does this affect their competition level?
We will be able to adjust a dancers convention room level with permission of the account holder. Please note if your dancer moves up a level, they will need to remain in that level throughout the entire week. If you decide to move your dancer down a level, they will no longer be eligible for scholarships. Moving a dancer up or down in convention room will not affect their level in which they compete. Competition levels are determined strictly by age at the National Dance Honors events.
Is the gala formal?
The gala is a formal event, with a red carpet and fine dining experience.
What does my national city crew fee include?
The National City Crew fee will include City Crew rehearsals and performance in the gala, a City Crew T shirt, and a Gala green room experience with meal.
Do I have to print Gala tickets?
Gala tickets can be kept on you phone and scanned upon arrival. You do not need to print them out.
What do I need to wear for honored dancer auditions?
Your dancer will need to wear whatever they feel most comfortable and confident dancing in. They will have time to quickly modify their outfit in between auditions if they so choose.
What is the green room gala experience that is included in the Honored Dancer and National City Crew experiences?
The Gala green room experience will include a meal, a live feed of the show, and special interaction with the team. Any dancer wishing to enter the theater to experience the gala will need to purchase a full price gala ticket.
What is the deadline for payment?
Payment must be made in full by Monday May 17th, 2021 in order for you to receive the early fees. Once this deadline passes all unpaid fees will be switched over to the late fees. No exceptions.
Is my regional year long observer band accepted at NDH?
No. The year long regional observer bands are only able to be used at regional events throughout the 2020-2021 season. NDH observer bands will be available for purchase through your dancer’s/studio registration for $60 before May 17th, 2021 and $70, May 18th, 2021 and after. Please note observer bands are not guaranteed for purchase onsite. This will depend on the space we have available and how many bands were sold prior to the start of the event.
